Teaching

About

I am a Bristol‑based clarinettist and music educator with a First Class BA in Music from the University of Bristol (2025). With Grade 8 and performance diplomas in clarinet, I have extensive experience as both a solo and chamber musician, regularly performing in recitals and small ensemble concerts across the city.

Alongside my performance work, I am passionate about nurturing young musicians. I currently support children through my role as an administrator at Bristol Beacon, where I help facilitate high‑quality music education for young people across the region. I also work closely with primary‑aged girls as a Brownie leader with Girlguiding, giving me valuable experience in creating engaging, supportive learning environments.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each pupil’s learning pace. Whether you’re picking up the clarinet for the first time or preparing for exams and auditions, I aim to build confidence, musicality, and a lifelong love of music. Lessons can cover everything from technique and tone development to music theory, ensemble skills, and exam preparation.

I welcome pupils of all abilities—from enthusiastic beginners to developing young musicians—and I am committed to making learning both fun and rewarding.
